Welcome to the Bowie Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) Website!
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is an all-risk, all-hazard training. This valuable course is designed to help you protect yourself, your family, your neighbors and your neighborhood in an emergency situation. CERT members receive 17 1/2 hours (one day a week for seven weeks) of initial training. CERT is provided free of charge within the city of Bowie to anyone 18 or over. (unless a member of Teen CERT) Classes are taught year-round, but you must apply to be a member before you can attend! Go to our class schedule and click on a class to get more information.
